FCTG is taking its Womenwise message external, offering a one-day Leadership Summit for women where it will share, for the first time ever, how the ASX-listed company develops its most successful leaders.
Facilitated by a host of in-house, world-class leadership development specialists and the senior leaders at the forefront of FCTG’s most innovative brands, the Womenwise Leadership Summit is a leadership development day for middle managers looking to leap forward and future-proof their career.
In this leadership development day, senior leaders from across the company will host sessions focused on emotional intelligence, creative problem solving and business acumen and strategy development. Participants will also be given the opportunity to network with FCTG’s most inspirational female leaders, as well as the Australian leadership team.
Having successfully helped hundreds of women internally realise their leadership potential, FCTG’s Global Peopleworks Leader, Carole Cooper says this will be the first time the company showcases externally the tried and tested methods it uses to develop its leaders.
“Our global workforce is 75% female; we have a network of strong, fierce women leading our businesses around the world and they all share a few common attributes.
“Our sessions will focus on the three key skills that help shape some of our most successful leaders,” says Cooper
Cooper says this event will open doors for women seeking leadership roles.
“The Flight Centre Travel Group mantra is to open up the world for those who want to see. In the Womenwise Leadership Summit, we aim to open up a world of possibilities for women to learn, lead and grow.”
The event will take place at the company’s global HQ in South Brisbane on Tuesday 13 August. Only 100 spots are available by registration only. For more information and to secure your spot, click here.
