Today she is the NSW and ACT Regional General Manager for Travel Associates. In this role she leads 29 businesses and approx. 150 staff.
Having originally set out to be a school teacher, it was the lure of discounted travel that landed her that first job in the travel industry back in 1999. It wasn’t long before Rachel fell in love with sales and the industry.
Rachel keeps herself busy raising her three children (twin boys and a daughter) and when it comes to travel, the family loves Northern Hemisphere ski holidays.
When asked how we can all offer support to the women around us, Rachel draws on a personal experience that gave her a leg up.
“I was fortunate enough that a female senior leader gave me an amazing opportunity and I would like to be able to do the same for other females.”
