Even though she started in FCTG as an ATL, her goal was to become a novice trainer and VL, roles which would allow her to interact with other TLs, enable her to provide a listening ear, and provide advice and solutions to their challenges. Everlyn loves her current role as it teaches her to think out-of-the-box and be adaptable through the different customer challenges and requests that are encountered daily. Her job also allows her to be able to pave the way for females in the workplace, giving them a voice and confidence to excel in what they can do, and take them from zero to hero
To be the voice of the people - Through daily interaction with different departments, this allows me to be empathic and understand the restrictions/challenges/frustration/thoughts of my team and our people.
Stereotypes. Many always assume women to be the one to help out at home when kids are sick or when there are celebrations in the household.
Themselves! They think too much and have too many considerations - women tends to think that they need to tick all boxes before they are capable of doing the job well.
