One of our youngest Womenwise committee members, Ashleigh has not taken long to embrace the Womenwise philosophy within her brand of Marketing.
She has adopted the vision of inspiring and promoting Women by incorporating regular Womenwise events throughout the year and is constantly supporting women from within her business.
Ashleigh, now Marketing Implementation Manager for Flight Centre brand, started in FCTG in 2014, however as her mother was a long term employee, by this time having over 15 years experience with the company, Ashleigh already had the Flight Centre culture well and truly ingrained in her. What a perfect choice then for our Womenwise committee.
We asked her:
Brightness of Future is my favourite philosophy as it encourages us to strive for something greater.
I am so passionate about Brightness of Future and to me, it’s a reminder that FCTG genuinely cares about my professional development. I believe that we are responsible for our own development and feel equally fortunate to have the support and encouragement of FCTG.
Brightness of Future means different things to different people - it’s personal; and having a clear vision and plan of attack is key to success; whatever success means to you.
During my time at FCTG, I’ve been encouraged and challenged by my leaders and the business to take on new opportunities, to work on projects and to develop my skills in order to achieve my personal Brightness of Future. Brightness of Future is never achieved; it evolves and grows with you.
Life is tough my darling, but so are you
